Steveston Salmon Festival Parade- Thanks For Coming out

 I wanted to take the time and thank everyone who came out to the parade yesterday! It was nice seeing all the familiar faces in the crowd. The Salmon Festival Canada Day Parade is something that I look forward to every single year. I am still ecstatic from all the good vibes yesterday! It is such a fun event, if you have never been I definitely recommend that you go.  There is so many activities that are fun for the whole family. This year we had amazing weather; it was a hot summer day but we had a nice breeze. My team and I handed out 3,000 reusable grocery bags.

I grew up in Richmond and have always considered it to be home. I feel it is very important to be active in my community. Gathering people to celebrate is such a wonderful way to connect with the people in your neighbourhood.  If you couldn’t make it out this year, I hope to see you next year. I just wanted to thank everyone for their support. I also wanted to thank the event organizers for putting on such a wonderful event!

Happy Canada Day everyone! I hope everyone got to enjoy the nice weather that we had. We are definitely blessed to live in such a beautiful city. If there is any ideas you would like to share with me for next year, let me know. I am always open to suggestions!
